Bearded vs. non-bearded Silkie chickens
Silkies come in either a bearded or non-bearded type. In the photo below, you can see an example of a bearded White Silkie.
And in this photo, you can see an example of a non-bearded White Silkie.
Most hatcheries and breeders don't specify the type they sell. However, the following hatcheries do specify they sell the bearded Silkie type:
